Medicated America is a song I wrote about the growing drug problem in The United States, predominantly amongst teens and people using prescription medications not diagnosed for medical reasons. This video does not promote the use of drugs in any way, and is not directed at every doctor, parent or person using prescription medication for legitimate medical reasons. It merely explains an all too common occurrence of overdose and addiction. As of 2011, prescription pills are the cause of more overdoses than all other narcotics combined. This video may offend some people, but it’s a truth not worth ignoring.
